Hair re-growth has always been a problem for me, even since a young age I’ve always been paranoid about how quickly my body hair used to grown back. My confidence especially took a knock when one day when me and my friends went on holiday, we were relaxing by the pool and one of my friends pointed out how quickly the hair on my legs, armpits and bikini line had grown back. I was I complete shock, I didn’t know what to say, I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me in all honesty! I didn’t appreciate how it was so noticeable for someone to point out. I quickly headed to back to the apartment to the bathroom. I shaved the areas that my friend had ever so kindly pointed out, with a razor. I regretted this straight away. My bikini-line was left sore, irritated and was left covered in bumps; I actually made the situation so much worse. For the rest of the holiday, I was left wearing frumpy shorts; I just didn’t have to confidence to show my body in public.
When I got home, I knew I had to do something about it! I tried waxing – that was just horrendous! The pain that I inflicted onto myself was just unbearable. Especially round those extra sensitive areas. I couldn’t bring myself to go to my local beauty salon because I wasn’t confident enough revealing my body, it was bad enough feeling embarrassed in front of my friends let alone strangers.
I was quickly running out of options. I couldn’t afford laser treatment, and to be honest I wouldn’t have felt confident enough to undergo the treatments. My local clinic was around 45 minutes away and I just didn’t have the time to make several visits to them. What if I’d paid all that money and it wouldn’t have worked? I was quickly running out of patience…that was until I searched the internet for hair removal tips, a lot of bloggers were suggesting that I tried permanent hair removal creams such as Revitol Hair Removal Cream and Dermology Hair Removal Cream, I did plenty of research surrounding these areas, and I can honestly say I was rather tempted. My only concern was that “what if it didn’t work” I then decided that I would try the hair removal creams that are available on the high street before I invested in these creams, because if the high street products work, then there would be a good chance that Revitol and Serology would be great.
As soon as I’ve tried and tested the Veet products I will give an honest review for you all to read! I’ll share my opinions and honest feelings, if I find that the Veet products do the trick then I will continue on to purchase Revitol and Dermology.
